Insitu bonded contacts will have the following advantages
1. The resistance generally seen in the Insitu bonded joint will be very minimal.
2. Because of this the joint temperature raise is less.
3. The copper is with copper tungsten directly bonded giving the copper tungsten a better cooling effect than brazed joints.
4. However, this process has limitations regarding the height of contact parts.
5. This process is done in an inert atmosphere giving a porosity-free bond.
